At SOA Music we put great emphasis on the connections we have with each other, the support we give each other, and the respect we show each other.The Code of Conduct is designed to promote behaviour that reflects our values - behaviour that also reflects the honesty, trust and fairness we expect in the actions of all members of our community (students, parents, guardians).
The Student Rules & Code of Conduct establishes SOA Music's standards of student behaviour and expectations:
• Respect for each and every student regardless of age, gender or ethnicity.
• Attendance and punctual arrival for all scheduled classes.
• We do not condone any behaviour reflective of bullying, psychological harassment, verbal threats, improper use of language, violence or threat of violence. Any participation in these acts will result in effective dismissal.
• SOA Music reserves the right to provide a substitute teacher in the event of any unforseen circumstances where the regular teacher is unable to attend.
• SOA Music is not obligated to provide make-up classes if a student is unable to attend their class.
• Students are not permitted to invite family members, friends, or visitors to any classes without prior permission from SOA Music authority.
• Students are expected to regulary attend their classes.
