Dev Bansraj Jr. hails from a family deep rooted in Indian Classical and Semi-Classical Music:
The Ramkissoon lineage of musicians.
His father is the illustrious singer Dev Bansraj Ramkissoon, and mother Zaira Ann Ramkissoon.

Dave Bansraj Jr. has been performing with his father Dev Bansraj Ramkissoon since 1995 and have travelled to so many countries performing with and accompanying many renowned artistes throughout the world.

Dave’s aptitude as a Tabla Solo artiste in various Gharanas has allowed him the ability to execute performances in various forms of Classical and Light Clasical Music. He has been recognized as an accomplished Tabla player and been honoured with many awards throughout his career.

Having performed around the globe and with some of the most esteemed Indian artists on the planet, he is without a doubt revered as one of the most sought after and top Tabla Player’s in North America.

Dave Bansraj Jr.is the Founder and Teacher of S.O.A Tabla, and teaches tabla at SOA Music's 4 locations across the Greater Toronto Area, executes Skype lessons, and houses workshops across Canada and USA.
